Lash lift & tint aftercare
Lash lifts are typically low maintenance however, for the first 48 hours there are some things you want to take extra precautions in what to avoid. Please consider following the lash lift aftercare instructions below:
- Do not rub your eyes – You want to avoid touching or rubbing all parts of your eye (lashes, brows, etc). If redness or irritation occurs, you can compress the eye area with a cool damp lightweight cloth.
- If you rub your eyes at any point after treatment it can cause the semi-permanent mascara to diminish.
- If the irritation lasts more than 24 hrs. you should seek medical advice.
- For the first 24 hours avoid large volumes of water on your face and/or swimming.
- Hot water and steam should be avoided for the first 48 hours.
- Not doing so can cause the tinting to dissolve quickly and the lash to lose its curl.
- No eye makeup or other facial treatments for the first 24 hours.
- Do not lie or sleep on your face
- Avoid oil-based makeup products on your eyes.
- Lash Me offers safe products that you can use for aftercare and enhancements such as our foam cleanser.
- Keep in mind that tanning and other strong UV exposure can cause tinting to fade faster.
